The Open Grid Computing Environments Portal and Services: Software for Science Gateways, part I

The Open Grid Computing Environment is an NSF funded and IU-led collaboration of universities that develops, packages, and delivers software to support user environments, such as the TeraGrid. This demonstration includes an overview of:

  • Tag libraries for quickly building Grid-based web applications, such as portlets and Google gadgets.
  • Information services and and Web clients ranging from TeraGrid User Portal-style portlets to
    Facebook applications.
  • Scientific workflow composition and management tools.
  • JavaScript libraries for building Grid-based mashups with the Java Commodity Grid kit.
